सद्विद्या” as “सा विद्या या विमुक्तये”(that knowledge which liberates!)

What we define as ‘that’ knowledge ‘which’ liberates? The knowledge which helps us attain money for food to eat, cloth to wear, house for shelter to creating wealth or even luxurious lifestyle. But also the one which keeps us away from lust or unwanted desire (Kama), anger (Krodha),greed (lobha), delusory, bondage or temptation (moha), pride (mada) and envy/jealousy (matsarya). That knowledge which not only keeps material poverty away but also eliminates ignorance, builds morality or good samskaaras and inculcates good behaviour.

While school or college education imparts us to earn livelihood and build careers for better employment, its highly imperative that we the people of India get benefitted from the teaching of Sanatana Dharma as envisaged by our great Sages and Seers in the form of Veda, Shaastraas to great Puraana, itihaasas that’s the treasure trove of this Bharata Desha.
In this endeavour सद्विद्या प्रतिष्ठानम् (सविप्र) “SaViPra” established in year 1967 by Acharya Padmanabha Sharma fondly called as Guruji by all his followers, has been committed to the cause of promoting and do its squirrel efforts in preserving the values of Sanatana Dharma. The Sanatana Dharma to be best understood through Samskritam as a language. As this language holds the treasure trove of Bharatham best known through our scriptures of Veda known as Sruti, Shaastraas known as Smruti (code of conduct), Itihaasas (glorious history of bharat) and Puranaas (the scriptures which still holds relevance).
The endeavour of SaViPra is to makes Samskritam or Sanskrit accessible to all as reinforced through our motto “प्रतिजनं संस्कृतं प्रतिदिनं संस्कृतं”. Our charter is dedicated to make understanding Sanskrit as an integral part to all our activities across Vedic and Shaastric learnings besides making Spoken Sanskrit and drive common people to learn this glorious language through of classes, plays and symposiums.
